Arrive in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to the hotel and we will do short city tour including Chinggis Square, National museum, Gandan Monastery and Zaisan Hill for panoramic view of the city. Also we will enjoy Mongolian traditional folklore concert. Stay the night at hotel.
Drive to Gobi Desert through Baga Gazriin Chuluu, known as granite rock formation in the middle of Gobi desert. We will drive through steppes by overview of land-sea and grandiose formation of rocks and basalts of Baga Gazriin Chuluu. Stay the night at tourist Mongolian Ger Camp.
Drive to Tsagaan Suvarga (White Stupa), which is an arduous scarp in Dundgovi province. Once a floor of the ocean, this scarp looks like a white stupa, hence the name Tsagaan Suvarga (white stupa). This scarp is 400 meters long and 60 meters tall with a 90 degree brink. Stay the night at tourist Mongolian Ger Camp.
Drive to Eagle valley (Yolyn Am), which is the narrow canyon of a river which flows through Zuun Saikhan Mountain, 62 kilometers north-west of the center of South Gobi province. It is the end of the Altai Mountain Ranges where you will have the chance to see wild animals such as wild sheep, ibex, condor, golden eagle and vultures. Drive to Khongor Sand Dunes or known as Singing Dunes. Khongor dunes are more than 180 km long and can reach 27 kilometres wide. The inhabitants name their imposing dunes “singing dunes” due to the noise made by the wind when it moves the sand. Beyond the dunes, the steppe extends as far as the eye can see. Stay the night at Mongolian Ger Camp.
Drive to Bayanzag known as Flaming cliffs. Bayanzag is famous for dinosaur remains, complete dinosaur skeletons and fossilized eggs. U.S scientist Roy Chapman Andrews first discovered fossil dinosaur eggs in Bayanzag. Their findings proved to the world that dinosaurs laid eggs. Giant dinosaurs and boundless sea was once existed in this vast Gobi Desert. Stay the night at tourist Mongolian Ger Camp.
Drive to Ongi Temple Ruin. This small mountainous area along the river, The Ongi River, in the western sum of Saikhan Ovoo, makes a good resting place to break a trip between the south Gobi and Kharkhorum. Ongi was established in 1660 and composed of two temple complexes on the North and South banks of the Ongi river. If you get up early, you will have a great chance to see some wild animals such as wild sheep, ibex, wolf etc. Stay the night at tourist Mongolian Ger Camp.
Drive to Kharkhorum. Kharkhorum - is a small village and one of the country's major tourist destinations and historically known as Karakorum city.
The most prominent historical site in Orkhon Valley is Kharkhorum, ancient capital of Mongol empire. Kharkhorum, founded in 1220 by Chinghis khan, was not only the capital of the vast Mongolian Empire, but the epic center of trade along Silk Road, and a cultural melting pot bridging east and west. Kharkhorum only one temple holds religious activity and the rest remained as a museum. Stay the night at tourist Mongolian Ger Camp.
Drive to Khustai National park. The Mongolian Government declared Khustai National Park as a Specially Protected Area in 1993, one year after the initiation of the reintroduction of the last species of wild horse project. The Wild horse became extinct in the wild and was last seen in the Gobi in the late 1960s. It survived only in zoos and private parks around the world. The reintroduction program began in 1992. We will see the wild horses, you can also see many wild animals including wild sheep Argali, wolf and red deer.
Drive to Ulaanbaatar In the afternoon we will have some free time for shopping and for relaxing. Have a farewell dinner. Stay the night at the hotel.
